Ping Recreation Center lounge
The Ohio University chapter of IEEE will host the Student Professional Awareness Conference (S-PAC) on Wed., April 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the Ping Recreation Center Lounge. Dress is business casual.
The S-PAC is an annual professional awareness conference in which electrical engineering and computer science students can gain insight into nontechnical skills to complement the technical skills gained in classes.
Tickets are $15, including dinner and presentations from two national IEEE speakers. Russ Harrison, director of government relations at IEEE-USA, will speak about how engineering affects policy making in Washington, D.C., and former Ohio University Stocker Visiting Professor Charles Alexander, MSEE '67, PhD '71, former dean of the Fenn College of Engineering at Cleveland State University, will discuss keeping your engineering career relevant in the 21st century.
