Black History Month movie screening – 2/20

In honor of Black History Month, the National Society of Black Engineers will screen three movies throughout February. The screening of “Paris is Burning,” co-sponsored by the LGBT Center, will be at 6:30 p.m. in Academic & Research Center 102.

“Paris is Burning” is a documentary focusing on drag queens living in New York City and their “house” culture. It features interviews with a number of renowned drag queens and also touches on issues of racism and poverty.
