Special ISU Guest Lecture: Alyssa Carson, The Mars Generation

The Russ College of Engineering and Technology at Ohio University and International Space University’s 28th Space Studies Program present a special family talk by Alyssa Carson on Tues., June 23, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Baker University Center Theater.

Since she was three years old, Alyssa wanted to fulfill her dream of being an astronaut. Alyssa is in the 8th grade at Baton Rouge International School, where she studies all her subjects in 4 different languages. She has completed all Space Camps in the world. In October 2013, she became the first person to complete the NASA Passport Program, going to all 14 NASA Visitor Centers in the US. An ambassador for Mars One project, she has appeared in several TV shows, and been written up in numerous newspapers and magazines. Alyssa wants to be one of the first humans on Mars and will share her dream and experiences.
