Baker Center’s Front Room

Think it’s impossible to turn lasagna into pancakes and back again? Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy Nancy Sandler will urge you to think differently as she discusses manipulating common materials in her upcoming talk, “Physics of New Materials: From Lasagna to Pancakes and Back.”

Part of OHIO’s Science Café series, Sandler’s discussion will highlight manipulating old materials to create something new. Join her on Wed., Oct. 21, at 5 p.m. in Baker Center’s Front Room. The first 50 attendees get free coffee, and you’ll get a free t-shirt for asking a question.

Science Cafés provide a safe, open environment for speakers to informally discuss ideas and interests with students, faculty and the community.
