HISTORY

Fifty years ago, five faculty members, led by the Professor Emeritus Robert Williams. Sr., formed the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering within the Russ College of Engineering and Technology. Today, we offer four degree programs, enroll more than 300 students, and nurture a vibrant research program.

As an industrial and systems engineering student at Ohio University’s Russ College of Engineering and Technology, you learned the skills to devise streamlined systems and set them in motion.
