How to Apply

Ready to create for good? Apply now to Ohio University and the Russ College.

To apply for admission directly to the Engineering Technology and Management program, you have three options:

  • Request direct entry to the program when applying to Ohio University as a freshman
  • Request entry to the program when transferring from another accredited university or college
  • Transfer to the program from another department within the Russ College or another college at Ohio University. This option requires a minimum 2.0 GPA in all university courses. Students on academic probation will not be admitted.

Before applying to the program, we encourage you to meet with the department chair to review entry requirements and the nature and scope of the program. Contact Todd Myers at 740.593.1455 to schedule a meeting.

To apply to the program:

  • Complete an official Application for Update of Program form, available in Stocker Center 181.
  • The Associate Dean for Academics will review your application.
  • You’ll meet with the department chair before your second semester of enrollment to review your academic coursework, set up departmental advising, and get additional program information.

Once enrolled in the program, you must earn a minimum of 24 semester credit hours in Engineering Technology and Management courses, with at least 16 at or above the 3000 level and successfully complete the business minor.
