Kay Dunlevy

Ambassador 2019-2020
Mechanical Engineering

Although not originally on her radar when considering colleges, it didn’t take long for Kay to fall in love with Ohio University. And from the beautiful campus to the tight community at OHIO, what’s not to love?

Kay is studying mechanical engineering and plans to attend graduate school for biomedical engineering. This would enable her to reach her goal of helping people from a medical standpoint while staying far away from the “blood and guts” aspect of most medical careers.

Besides being an Engineering Ambassador, Kay is a part of Cru, a Christian ministry on campus, as well as Global Engineering Projects, an engineering group that works with a village in Ghana. She has had two internships – one at Crown Cork and Seal, a can manufacturer near her hometown, and the other at OtterBox in Fort Collins, Colorado.

In her free time, Kay enjoys doing anything that involves friends, being outdoors, and eating ice cream!
