jw473415@ohio.edu

Hometown: Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Expected Graduation: Spring 2020

Jason chose to attend Ohio University after he visited campus and experienced the warm greetings of the Athens community. He valued the friendliness of everyone he met and knew that Athens – especially the Russ College – would provide an excellent learning environment with a great balance of academic instruction, hands-on workshop labs, and professional co-operative opportunities.

The Russ College has helped inspire Jason’s passion for computer science and has significantly contributed to his interest in becoming a meta-engineer. He believes that the faculty assists the students in a way that urges them to strive for greatness. Jason feels that his internship during the summer of 2019 prepared him for success in the professional world and credits Fori Automation for his interest in the automotive industry.

Along with being an Engineering Ambassador, Jason plays ultimate frisbee for Ohio University and has been involved in Theta Tau, the national co-ed engineering fraternity. In his free time, he enjoys DIY projects of all sorts, skiing, and making music.
