Shweta Chopra has worked with various industries as a process engineer and lean consultant. Prior to joining Ohio University, she has worked as an assistant professor for 5-years in Iowa State University. She has taught classes in Purdue University and Rochester Institute of Technology. Her teaching experience includes courses ranging from advanced instrumentation, introductory chemistry, lean manufacturing, design in technology, and technology capstone.

Research Interests: Food loss and waste reduction and prevention, Scholarship of teaching and learning, Lean Principle and Quality Management System Implementation for Process Improvement
