Luanne Rase Bowman joined the dean’s office as the chief financial and administrative officer/chief operating officer in October 2013, reporting to and advising the dean and other college senior leadership. She and her talented team are responsible for all administrative functions of the college and its research centers and institutes, including but not limited to budget and finance management, facilities management, standards compliance, and all aspects of human resource management. Luanne is also responsible for flight operations in the aviation department, as well as the financial and administrative operations at the Russ Research Center. She also supervises two college laboratory technicians who provide technical and laboratory services for coursework and research to undergraduate students and faculty.

Luanne works closely with the university administrative leadership, serving on numerous committees including RC-Strategy, CFAO Budget Group and Compensation Partner Group. In addition, she currently co-chairs the Post-Award and Sponsored Research and Grants Partner Group.

Luanne has more than 20 years’ experience in higher education administration. She previously served for 11 years as vice president for financial and administrative affairs/treasurer at Rio Grande Community College in Rio Grande Ohio.

She resides in Albany Ohio with her twin 15-year-old sons.
