The Patton College of Education has developed the Remote Teaching Series: Engaging Students with Technology. As we navigate the challenges of online instruction, these hour-long online presentations will discuss innovations in teaching with technology—what is working and what isn’t. Sessions will occur bi-monthly during the noon hour.
The first session features Dr. Jacqueline Yahn, assistant Professor and program coordinator, Middle Childhood Education, Ohio University Eastern. She presented, “What Worked Well in Transitioning to Fully Online Education. This series is open to Ohio University and the community.
Each session will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and will be recorded for those who cannot participate live.

Monday, May 4, 12 - 1 p.m. “Providing Value in a Quarantined Internship,” by Ms. Robin Ambrozy, assistant professor of instruction and program coordinator, Customer Service Leadership, Department of Human and Consumer Sciences
Monday, May 18, 12 - 1 p.m. “Creating and using instructional videos, screencasts, and podcasts to increase instructor presence, increase student interaction, and expedite feedback in online courses,” by Dr. Jesse Strycker, assistant professor, Innovative Learning Design & Technology, Department of Educational Studies.
