Sarah Murphy, a Recreation and Sport Pedagogy senior, collected over 100 business cards from working professionals at this year’s Ohio Parks and Recreation Association (OPRA) Conference and Trade Show.

Alan Rousseau and his climbing partner became the first-ever alpinists to reach the 6,940-meter west face summit of Tengi Ragi Tau in the Nepal Himalayas. Rousseau got his master’s in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies.

Kaitlynn Kirkpatrick, a junior Early Childhood Education major, has been working full-time at a COVID-19 approved daycare center in The Plains, Ohio. She is also a member of the Air National Guard.

Restaurant Hotel and Tourism major Amelia Tritt played a key role in planning and fundraising for Ohio University’s 2020 BobcaThon fundraiser. This year, the program raised over $117,000 on behalf of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Central Ohio.
