Connie Patterson

As Director of Assessment and Academic Improvement, Connie Patterson works closely with the Colleges three accrediting bodies, the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), and the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE). Patterson organizes the Colleges assessment system and the use of LiveText for data collection and management. In addition to her work as the Director of Assessment and Academic Improvement, Patterson is also an Associate Lecturer in the Counselor Education program.


Patterson received the bachelors in psychology from Ohio University, the masters in rehabilitation counseling from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and was recently awarded the PhD in counselor education from Ohio University. Patterson is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Association of Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), and the Association for Specialists in Group Work (ASGW).
