August 15, 2014 : Steven Whitlinger joins Ohio University Eastern faculty

Ohio University Eastern has hired Steven W. Whitlinger as an instructor of biology.

 

Whitlinger earned a M.S. in Biology from Indiana University, Pennsylvania, and holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated magna cum laude.

 

Whitlinger began teaching at Ohio University Eastern Campus as an adjunct instructor in January, 2014.  His previous teaching experience includes stints at Paine College (GA) and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. 

 

Whitlinger’s teaching interests include general biology, cell and molecular biology, developmental biology, evolutionary-developmental biology and evolution.

 

 Whitlinger, and his wife, Pamela June, Ph.D., who is also employed at Ohio University Eastern as an associate professor of English, reside in Warwood, WV.
