ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OH – High school seniors are invited to a spring visitation event called Admitted Day at Ohio University Eastern Campus on Thursday, March 23 at 3pm ending with a $500 Scholarship drawing. Register online at ohio.edu/eastern or call 740-699-2536.
“Whether students have decided that our Ohio University Eastern campus is right for them, or if they are still considering their college choice, we have great information and chances to win a scholarship at our event,” explains Lisa Jeffries, Recruitment Coordinator.
During Admitted Day, students will take a closer look at what it means to “Be a Bobcat” and be part of the OHIO tradition on our regional campus, learn about majors, talk with professors, and get financial aid information. The event will also feature “speed” information sessions, a student panel, and campus tours.
Free applications will be offered for those who have not applied and the event will culminate with a drawing for a $500 Scholarship.
“Our yearly tuition is approximately $5000. By blending our location, affordability, and high quality education, many students find the Eastern Campus of Ohio University fits their needs entirely,” said Jeffries. “This time of year for seniors can be exciting and stressful all at the same time. Many students who have applied to schools may be getting their financial aid letters now. It can be difficult for students and parents to wrap their heads around the Expected Family Contribution, the cost of going to college and then multiply it by 4, 6 or 8 years. I encourage seniors to come take a closer look at whether the regional campus of Ohio University is the next step on their educational journey.”
The Ohio University Eastern Campus is conveniently located off I-70, just west of the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville.
