James Wright Poetry Festival

The James Wright Poetry Festival is held in Martins Ferry, Ohio to honor the life and writings of local poet, James Wright. The Poetry Festival was originally held from 1981 until 2007, and it has now been restarted. The Poetry Festival is held at the Martins Ferry Public Library.

Registration for the Festival Events between 9:00 and 5: 30 is now complete.

However, the evening program, consisting of readings by Annie Wright, Jonathan Blunk, and Stanley Plumly, is open to all without registration. Please attend.
