Ohio University Eastern Campus has a strong commitment to providing you, the Eastern Campus community, with the necessary supports to succeed in your pursuit of a higher education. The importance of students maintaining their mental health so they can pursue their education cannot be emphasized enough. To that end, we have retained the services of Ms. Leigh Huggins and Ms. Sarah Day, licensed independent social workers, to assist you if needed. They can help you with a wide variety of concerns be they depression, anxiety, relationship issues or just dealing with the general stressors of life. Please don't hesitate to take advantage of their counseling and support services.
OUE's Counseling Services is located in Shannon Hall, Room 307A. Office hours at OUE are Wednesdays 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm and Thursday 9:00 am - Noon. Appointments outside of these walk-in hours can be made by calling Ms. Day or Ms. Huggins at Tri-County Help Center (740-695-5441 or 1-800-695-1639). Their phone number at Ohio University Eastern Campus is 740-699-2334 and you can leave them a voice mail message if they are not in the office. In addition, Ms. Day can be reached at her e-mail address of email@example.com, and Ms. Huggins can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sometimes college students experience difficulty coping with all the demands of school, jobs or relationships. Please don't hesitate to call on Ms. Day or Ms. Huggins for assistance. They are knowledgeable, skilled and friendly. And they are here to serve you.
