Christina Scott, M.Ed., LPCC-S
Christina Scott received her Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College in 2015. She received her undergraduate degree from OHIO University, Southern Campus. Christina is licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation. Christina has worked within a variety of settings including community mental health, substance abuse treatment, public school systems and universities. In addition to providing remote counseling to OHIO students, Christina owns an online private practice. Her therapeutic style is personalized to the client, incorporating aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and expressive arts. She is a self-proclaimed geek-therapist and enjoys bringing in the client’s interests (e.g. superheroes, pop culture, books/media) whenever possible. Areas of interest for Christina include trauma work, college student mental health, addressing “imposter syndrome” and perfectionism, depression, anxiety, and affirming/supporting LGBTQIA2s+ individuals. In her personal life, Christina enjoys reading, spending time with her five pets, gardening and foraging for edible plants in the Midwest.
