Li Ting (Ada) Lin, M.Ed.
Ada received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Western Connecticut State University and earned her Master of Education in Educational Studies at The State University of New York at Buffalo, where she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree in the Combined School/Counseling Psychology program. Ada has had diverse clinical experiences at her prior practica, specifically, at a university counseling center, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), and at an outpatient mental health clinic. While Ada integrates various interventions from other theoretical orientations, she primarily operates from the lens of CBT with a person-centered approach to empower her clients and to strengthen the therapeutic alliance. In general, she aims to provide interventions that are evidence-based while demonstrating compassion and empathy to create a safe and sincere space to invite clients to discuss and address their concerns. Ada also value collaboration and welcome any feedback from clients to enhance/progress toward treatment goals and outcomes. Her hobbies include singing, being in nature, listening to music, eating/snacking, watching movies, bike-riding, and walking.
