Shannon Gray, M.A.
Shannon Gray is an intern at Ohio University CPS. He currently attends National Louis University in Chicago, IL, where he is completing his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.). He has completed therapy and assessment-focused psychological training at Rush Neurobehavioral Center, Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital, and Mental Health Solutions. Shannon has also completed a Master of Arts degree in both Counseling and Clinical Psychology, where he gained valuable experience working in community mental health. Shannon is originally from Canton, OH, and is excited to return to his home state! While Shannon has worked with a variety of individuals across settings, he greatly enjoys his work with young adults. He has sought to actively support his clients as they explore their self-identity and personal development. Grounded in a cognitive-behavioral approach; Shannon seeks to integrate elements of multiculturalism and family systems to highlight client strengths. This collaborative approach to therapy is intended to empower the client as they move forward toward their personal and professional goals.
