Ohio University’s CATS Light Night Shuttle Service, a free transportation option offered to students, faculty and staff, will remain available during the approaching Thanksgiving Holiday and Winter Break periods.

The increased service offerings are part of OHIO Transportation and Parking Services’ ongoing efforts to proactively evaluate and provide safe, responsive campus transportation options to the campus community. The University regularly reviews OHIO’s transportation resources to ensure that they are appropriately meeting campus needs.

About the CATS Late Night Shuttle Service
The CATS Late Night Shuttle service has remained a popular transportation choice within the campus community; OHIO’s Transportation and Parking Services team recently increased the service’s resources, including additional drivers and an additional dispatcher to triage calls, in an effort to accommodate growing demand.

CATS Late Night is also piloting an expansion of its service hours to include pickup options on Sunday evenings between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m.; the pilot is part of the positive feedback that the University has received regarding ways to help increase safety within the campus community.
