Africa forum to be held on Monday, Nov. 5

A special open forum focused on Ohio University’s activities in Africa will be held on Monday, Nov. 5, beginning at 2 p.m. in the Multicultural Center’s Multipurpose Room on the second floor of the Baker University Center.

Open to all faculty, staff and students, the forum is being organized by the University International Council (UIC) and the Center for International Studies’ African Studies Program, with the support of the Office of Global Affairs and International Studies.

The open forum is being held to discuss OHIO’s current activities in Africa, the potential for future programs, and the university’s overall Africa Strategy. Also during the afternoon, a report on a series of OHIO meetings and special events held in the summer of 2018 in Botswana, Ghana, The Gambia and Senegal will be shared and discussed.
