The Ohio University School of Art + Design is excited to host the undergraduate thesis exhibition, “Rooted Implicity,” featuring the work of six students completing their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees, on view April 16-20 in the Ohio University Art Gallery, Seigfred Hall 536. An opening reception is planned for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18 and is free and open to the public.

“Rooted Implicity,” a culmination of work that has been developed over the past four years, prompts a discussion of different perceptions and realities of the human condition. It exposes the underlying thoughts, memories, places and toils woven into the human way of life. The exhibition features works of installation, sculpture, performance and photography by artists Nouran Alhazmi (Painting + Drawing), Natalie Condrac (Painting + Drawing), Alexander Graham (Painting + Drawing), Carolyn Hunter (Ceramics), Hanna Millhouse (Photography + Integrated Media) and Maggie Prest (Photography + Integrated Media).

The Ohio University Art Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
