University Program Council to host ‘Game of Thrones’-themed event

Ohio University’s University Program Council (UPC) will be hosting a “Game of Thrones”-themed event from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, in the Baker University Center Theatre Lounge.

This free event, inspired by HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones,” is open to all Ohio University students and will feature chocolate gold coins, cocktail shrimp, chicken fingers, deviled eggs, mini hot dogs, sugar cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, lemon cake and plenty of drinks.

The event’s activities will include “Game of Thrones” trivia, a game where participants will match the houses to their mottos, and archery where contestants will aim for targets that are the show’s villains. Prizes, including posters, key chains, family banners, mugs, water bottles and shirts, will be awarded.

Event programmers Caitlin Clay and Vania de Perio want to let everyone know that “Winter is Here” and hope that lots of Bobcats attend this event.
