OHIO announces 2017 Homecoming Court; king, queen voting begins today

Happy Homecoming Week, Bobcats!

This Ohio University tradition begins today and runs through Saturday, Oct. 7, offering Bobcats past and present a plethora of opportunities to show off their Bobcat Pride. One of those opportunities begins today.

Online voting for OHIO’s 2017 Homecoming King and Queen began at 8 a.m. today and continues through 11:59 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6. All Ohio University students are eligible to cast votes for Homecoming King and Queen, but each student may only vote once.

After soliciting nominations and applications and interviewing candidates, 10 Ohio University seniors were selected to serve on this year’s Homecoming Court and will represent OHIO’s Class of 2018 during this year’s Homecoming festivities.

Members of the Homecoming Court are OHIO seniors who promote the values of Ohio University, take pride in the University, represent OHIO’s student body and enhance the University as a whole.

The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during Saturday’s Homecoming football game against Central Michigan, which is slated to kick off at 2 p.m. in Peden Stadium.
