UCM Annual Report highlights successes from 2016-17


 Ohio University Communications and Marketing (UCM) has released its annual report, which highlights many of the initiatives and projects the department completed during the 2016-17 academic year. 
 
The infographic, seen below, features the department’s key accomplishments, including: 

  • An overall increase in social media engagement on the University’s official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts 
  • Service to more than 65 units totaling 187 clients and 392 projects supporting OHIO’s academic and administrative units 
  • More than 30,000 media placements, including 373 faculty members who were featured in the media in 2016-17, expanding OHIO’s regional, national and international profile
  • Countless moments captured visually through 115 videos and more than 14,000 photographs produced by UCM

“Through the work of the talented professionals at UCM, our department has been able to raise OHIO’s profile by telling the stories of our students, faculty and staff with powerful words, stunning photography and videography and special initiatives like Project Hindsight and the Faculty Newsmakers Gala,” said Chief Marketing Officer Renea Morris. “I am extremely proud of the staff and students whose efforts allow UCM to fulfill its mission to promote the University."
