Ohio University Eastern announces fall visitation event

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio – High school juniors, seniors and their parents are invited to a fall visitation event called OHIO Discovery Day at Ohio University’s Eastern Campus on Friday, Oct. 20, beginning at 10 a.m.

During the OHIO Discovery Day, prospective students and their parents will discover what it means to “Be a Bobcat” and be part of the OHIO tradition on its regional campus, learn about majors, talk with professors and get financial aid information.

The event will also feature academic department information sessions, campus tours and scholarship opportunities.

“Our yearly tuition is around $5,000. By blending our location, affordability and high quality education, many students discover the Eastern Campus of Ohio University fits their needs entirely,” explains Recruitment Coordinator Lisa Jeffries. “This time of year for seniors can be exciting and stressful all at the same time. Planning for life after high school graduation is something they should be doing now. I encourage them to sign up for our fall program to discover whether the regional campus of Ohio University is the next step on their educational journey.”
