The OHIO Hockey home opener will be against an in-state ACHA foe when John Carroll University comes to Athens on Friday, Sept. 22, and again Saturday, Sept. 23, both at 7:30 p.m. A unique and exciting home weekend will take place when the newly minted ACHA Division I program University of Nevada-Las Vegas flies east to Athens to take on the Bobcats on Oct. 13 and 14. The Bobcats will also be wearing special military themed jerseys for the home series against Lindenwood University on Nov. 17 and 18.

Fans will be excited to see that there will be numerous new “Theme Nights” and game promotions throughout the season. Some special nights include the “Teddy Bear Toss” for charity on Saturday, Dec. 2, against CSCHL rival Robert Morris Illinois-University. Fans are encouraged to bring a new stuffed toy to throw on the ice after the first OHIO Hockey goal. Toys will be collected and donated to charity for holiday gifts.
