iCUE Spotlight: July 3-9, 2017

What's in the CUE this week at Ohio U.

We're into the heart of summer, as we enter the ninth week of full summer semester and the second week of second summer session. But don't forget to use the University's official online calendar to stay on top of what's going at OHIO, as well as deadlines and parking lot closures! And remember, anyone with an OHIO ID can add events that are sponsored by any University planning unit or registered student organization.

Here are a few highlights from the week ahead:

(Tuesday, July 4, all day, all campuses): The Fourth of July commemorates the birth of American independence and we'll be celebrating with classes cancelled and University offices on all campuses closed on Tuesday, July 4. Please note: Alden Library and the Ping Center will be closed, as well as all Culinary Services venues.

Tantrum Theater: Caroline, or Change (preview Wednesday, July 5, 7:30 to 10 p.m., Abbey Theater in Dublin): While it isn't officially on an OHIO campus, Tantrum Theater is a fully OHIO institution, founded by the College of Fine Arts in 2015. And their production of "Caroline, or Change" will run from July 5-22, with preview performances July 5-6 and opening night on Friday, July 7! "With its moving rock, gospel, and klezmer score, this magical, Tony Award-nominated musical is a riveting statement addressed to a nation still gripped by inequality."
