Search firm open forums for Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion scheduled for March 19

The following message was sent to OHIO students, faculty and staff on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

Dear Bobcats,

Executive search firm Witt/Kieffer has been selected to assist Ohio University in its search for the University’s first vice president for diversity and inclusion. Working in consultation with OHIO’s Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion Search Committee, Witt/Kieffer’s recruitment team is charged with identifying and recruiting highly qualified candidates for consideration.

Witt/Kieffer consultants will be visiting OHIO’s Athens Campus on Monday, March 19, to learn about OHIO’s vision for this important role. In addition to meeting with University leadership and key stakeholders, three open forums will be held to gather input from the broader University community:

Open Forum with Faculty
Baker University Center, Room 235
1:15 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Open Forum with Staff

Baker University Center, Room 235
3:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Open Forum with Students
Baker University Center, Room 242
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

We encourage students, faculty and staff to help shape the search process that Witt/Kieffer is commencing by attending the open forums on March 19. Adobe Connect will be available to constituents at OHIO’s regional campuses and anyone who cannot make it to the open forum at https://connect.ohio.edu/vpdiforum/.

As the search gets underway, there will be additional opportunities for the University community to interact with finalists identified by the search committee. Please check Compass for updates.

Thank you for your involvement in this important process. We look forward to seeing you on March 19!

Best regards,
