Interim Vice President of University Advancement Tom Davis, in a message to the OHIO community, announces the search committee for the position of Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations and Executive Director of the OHIO Alumni Association.

Dear Ohio University community,

Today I’m pleased to announce the launch of a national search for Ohio University’s next Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations and Executive Director of the OHIO Alumni Association (OAA). As you know, we are fortunate to have David Bambrey serving in this role in an interim capacity. 

A 17-member search committee—comprising students, faculty, staff, and alumni—will be co-chaired by Bill Willan, executive dean of Regional Higher Education, and Casey Christopher (BSC ’02), vice chair of the OAA Board of Directors. The search committee (full membership listed below) will be given the task of recruiting our next Assistance Vice President for Alumni Relations and Executive Director of the OAA.

Ohio University has more than 237,000 living alumni around the globe. The Assistant Vice President and Executive Director provides strategic direction for alumni relations efforts and plans and implements programs, activities, and services for alumni and friends in order to build relationships that enhance the lives of OHIO’s graduates while advancing OHIO’s mission and increasing the University’s base of private financial support.
