What's happening at Ohio University, taken from the official central calendar

Can you believe it's already the third week of summer semester? The pace may be a little slower, but the Calendar of University Events is here to help you stay informed about what's happening on all OHIO campuses.

We're also here to help spread the word to all members of the University community, so add your OHIO events to the CUE! Anyone with an OHIO ID can add events and deadlines sponsored by any planning unit or registered student organization.

Here are some highlights from the week ahead:

Appalachian Ohio State of the Region Conference (Tuesday, May 23, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Baker University Center Ballroom): With the theme "A New Era in Economic Resiliency," this conference welcomes anyone who is interested in the state of industries in the region. From public officials to development personnel and business representatives, anyone who has an interest in entrepreneurship in Appalachian Ohio will find this opportunity to discuss the state and future of economics. The event is free but registration was requested.

International Game Day (Wednesday, May 24, 3-4 p.m., Gordy Hall 311): OPIE invites everyone to take a break for an hour of fun and a chance to meet new friends. Come meet students from all over the world, play board games, eat snacks and have fun conversations. Free and open to all!
