Applications being accepted for Kohei Miura Visiting Professorship at Chubu University

The Ohio University - Chubu University Relations Committee (CRC) is now accepting applications for the 2017-18 Kohei Miura Visiting Professorship, named in honor of the founder of Chubu University.

The Kohei Miura Visiting Professorship allows for an OHIO faculty member to spend a semester in residence at Chubu University in Japan. The Miura Visiting Professor for the 2016-17 academic year is Distinguished Professor William Condee, a professor of theater who also serves as OHIO’s J. Richard Hamilton/Baker and Hostetler Professor of Humanities. For more information on the research he is planning to do at Chubu University this semester, please click here

The successful applicant will be an Ohio University Group 1 faculty member who is able to be in residence at Chubu University either during the spring semester (early April through June) or the fall semester (late September through December). Round-trip transportation, housing and a modest monthly expense reimbursement will be provided.
