Paperwork needed from retiring administrators by March 1

Administrative Service Awards Committee encourages retirees to ensure recognition at this year's ceremony


The 2017 Outstanding Administrator and Administrative Service Awards Ceremony will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 30, in the Walter Hall Rotunda.

OHIO administrators who are considering retiring prior to July 1 are reminded that their retirement paperwork must be submitted to University Human Resources by March 1 in order to be recognized at this year’s ceremony. If your retirement paperwork does not reach Human Resources by March 1, Administrative Senate cannot guarantee that you will be recognized at the 2017 ceremony and you may be recognized during the 2018 ceremony.

More than 150 OHIO administrators are expected to be honored at this year’s ceremony, which will celebrate administrators who have served the University for 10 years or more, recognize retiring administrators, and highlight administrators who have exemplified a strong commitment and distinguished service to the University.

The 2017 Outstanding Administrator and Administrative Service Awards Ceremony is free and open to the entire OHIO community. It is sponsored by Ohio University’s Administrative Senate.
