Kennedy Museum of Art to host reception for new exhibitions Friday

Kennedy Museum of Art will host a reception in honor of three new museum exhibitions the evening of Sept. 25, 5-7 p.m.

Join us to celebrate the museum's newest exhibitions, including a collection of Navajo textiles, a permanently installed historical collection focused on The Ridges, and new works from Art + Design faculty member artists.

A collection of Navajo weavings titled “Two Grey Hills Navajo Weavings,” will be on display from Sept. 15 through Dec. 23.

A new permanent exhibit “Ridges History,” a collection of photos, art, and artifacts that display the history of the buildings that make up the Ridges, began Sept. 15 as well. A new exhibit titled, "Insights: The School of Art + Design Faculty Exhibition," will run Sept. 25 through March 27.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will include wine and cheese.
