CLDC to hold Career and Internship Fair Sept. 22-23

Ohio University is ready to kick off one of the biggest professional development opportunities it offers to both students and alumni – the Career and Leadership Development Center’s (CLDC) bi-annual Career and Internship Fair.

Scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, and Wednesday, Sept. 23, in the Baker University Center Ballroom, the Career and Internship Fair provides a venue for OHIO students and alumni to develop business connections, meet potential employers, and learn about internships, co-ops and full-time job opportunities. The Career and Internship Fair is free and open to all OHIO students and alumni.

During the fair, more than 150 employers from across the country will congregate in Baker University Center to meet and interact with Bobcats seeking internship and job opportunities. JPMorgan Chase & Co., the Hackett Group, and Teach for America are just a few of the companies and organizations expected to participate in the event. A full list of employers scheduled to attend the fair is available by clicking here

Students who attend the fair are encouraged to bring their resumes. Professional attire is required, and guidelines on how to dress appropriately are available at https://www.ohio.edu/careerandleadership/upload/professional-dress.pdf.

Many of the employers participating in the fair are expected to stay for Interview Day on Thursday, Sept. 24, for those students who are prepared to meet and interview for available positions.

The CLDC also holds a Career and Internship Fair during spring semester. That event has been scheduled for Feb. 16, 2016.
