University announces spring semester 2016 Dean's List


More than 4,500 students qualified for the spring semester 2016 Dean’s List at Ohio University’s Athens campus.

The students represented every region of the United States and numerous countries, including: Egypt, Oman, China Botswana, Canada, the Netherlands and Jamaica.

OHIO students must earn at least 3.5 grade point average for the semester with a schedule of classes totaling at least 15 hours, 12 of which were taken for letter grades, to achieve this distinction.

Students on the Dean’s List represented Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and 31 states, including: Arizona; California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, New York and Ohio.

The database also contains the names of the 4,892 students who graduated during OHIO’s Spring Commencement exercises in May 2016.
