Greetings from Go Green!
Are you looking for a fun activity on the Thursday and Friday of fall opening? Need to get away from the desk for a few hours of outdoor adventure? Are you interested in welcoming new students and parents? Please consider becoming a Go Green Guide!
As you may be aware, the Division of Student Affairs coordinates a number of campus staff and events to welcome incoming students to Ohio University during move-in days. Go Green Guides work on the campus greens to help ensure that the arrival of our new students is as efficient and welcoming as possible.
This year we are looking to fill 100 slots for Go Green. Shifts for Go Green (Thursday, Aug. 21, and Friday, Aug. 22) are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from noon to 3:30 p.m., and from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Participation in this event during the workdays is subject to the approval of your current supervisor. Questions pertaining to release time may be directed to Human Resources at 740-593-1636.
Go Green Guides will be provided with an official Go Green t-shirt, an opportunity to learn more about our events during opening weekend, and a chance to meet and greet new students! This is a fun and positive experience for both you and our new students and parents.
