Ohio University Zanesville Dean Jenifer Cushman has been selected to participate in Harvard’s 2014 Institute for Educational Management (IEM) program.
The competitive program, offered through Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, is a total-immersion program designed to develop leadership qualities and vision of senior leaders in institutions of higher education.
While Cushman is honored to have been accepted into the renowned and competitive program, she is focused on the benefits to the campus, particularly with regard to global and experiential education, collaboration and partnerships, and emerging technologies.
“I am confident that the lessons I learn through this experience will be invaluable to Ohio University Zanesville as we face the challenges and embrace the opportunities of higher education in the 21st century,” Cushman remarked.
Cushman’s acceptance to and participation in the IEM training is a complementary addition to her already impressive resume of experience as a United States Peace Corps graduate, Fulbright scholar and ACE Fellow.
