Ice carvers visit Athens Campus [PHOTO ESSAY]

Ohio University's Campus Involvement Center hosted a team of professional ice carvers who created ice sculptures at three locations on the Athens Campus on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

The ice carvers from Central Ohio’s Rock on Ice chiseled two ice sculptures each from noon to 2 p.m. at the Alumni Gate, the first floor entrance to Baker University Center and the fourth floor entrance to Baker University Center.

The activity drew quite a bit of attention from students, who paused in their travels across campus to watch the chilly artwork take place.
