A public retirement reception in honor of Barbara Kreutzer will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 25 in Human Resources and Training Center 141.
Kreutzer has been the tax compliance manager for Ohio University in the Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration Department since November 2007. Prior to joining the University, Kreutzer worked for McBee Systems in Athens.
During her time at OHIO, she was instrumental in bringing the University into compliance with many of the complex tax issues faced by higher education over the past seven years.
“I’ve enjoyed working with everyone across campus I’ve had contact with, and I just appreciate everyone’s help and cooperation over the years,” said Kreutzer.
Kreutzer plans to take a Spanish literature class, garden, take a painting class and travel with her husband Andrew. “I’ll also be volunteering at the library for anyone who wants to come see me,” she said. “I love to read.”
