Ohio University wrapped up its annual International Week on Saturday, April 19, with the week’s most popular event – the International Street Fair.
Held on Court Street in uptown Athens, the International Street Fair marked its 32nd year of bringing the OHIO and local community together to celebrate the customs, cultures and cuisine of the University’s international students.

International Week at Ohio University this year paid tribute to the unique relationship forged between the University and the city of Athens through the cultural diversity that OHIO’s international community brings to the area. The theme of International Week was “The World in Athens, Athens in the World.”
In addition to the parade, this year’s International Street Fair featured international cuisine and performances as well as a plethora of family-friendly activities provided by OHIO’s international student groups.
International Week is sponsored by OHIO’s International Student Union (ISU) in collaboration with International Student and Faculty Services (ISFS), the Office of Education Abroad, the Center for International Studies, and the University’s student senates with support from Event Services. This annual celebration of OHIO’s global heritage also receives tremendous support from the city of Athens and the Athens City-County Health Department.
