James McGee-Moore, undergraduate sculpture student at Ohio University, will exhibit her video work in an exhibition at the Ohio University Art Gallery in Seigfred Hall 536. The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, runs March 18 to 22.
James McGee-Moore is a home-schooled vegan with wanderlust, who came to call Athens her home when she moved here in her early teens. She has exhibited work locally and at Agora X, Junctionview Studios in Columbus. She will receive her bachelor's degree in sculpture in May.
In her videos, McGee-Moore explores themes of femininity as well as social constructs and pressures. For this exhibition, she created four video pieces that will be displayed on monitors within four large personal viewing canopies. This exhibition includes a variety of other art works compiled from senior Fine Arts students.
