From staff reports
Ohio University Zanesville nursing faculty and students invite you to attend a free open house at the Zanesville Campus on Newark Road on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Through demonstrations and simulations, personalized conversation with faculty, a panel discussion with current nursing students and more, those interested in learning more about pursuing a career as a registered nurse will hear and experience firsthand the outstanding possibilities for a registered nurse. In addition, there will be a drawing for a $1,250 tuition certificate good toward full-time enrollment in Ohio University Zanesville's Nursing Program, and anyone who applies to attend Ohio University Zanesville while at the event will have the application fee waived.
There are two ways to begin a career in the nursing profession leading to RN licensure with an education from Ohio University Zanesville – a two-year associate degree program with an advanced placement option for LPN students and a four-year bachelor's degree with an accelerated track for students with a bachelor's degree in another discipline.
To learn more, plan to attend this free hands-on open house and meet the faculty and the students who are currently pursuing their education in nursing.
Refreshments will be served to participants in the Elson Hall Atrium beginning at 9:45 a.m. To assist in planning, please RSVP to 740-588-1514 or via email to Jackie Forshey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
