Beginning Friday, Feb. 7, Ohio University students will welcome their siblings to campus for an eventful weekend. There is never a dull moment here at Ohio University, which is why we have planned plenty of events to entertain students and sibs of all ages.
"The weekend my brother came to visit me was a really great time," said Senior Allison Barwacsz. "It was my freshman year and he was a senior in high school. We had an awesome time, and he absolutely loved the campus, so it didn’t come as a big surprise when he said he wanted to come to Ohio University. I was really excited that he decided to join me at OU, and it's been an awesome experience for him since."
This enjoyable weekend is full of exciting events for students and sibs of all ages. Here is a sample of the planned events:
Join the Bobcats at the Convocation Center on Saturday, Feb. 8, as they battle it out against one of their biggest rivals, the Miami RedHawks. General admission will cost $20, but students can purchase student section tickets for their sibs for $5. As always, students will receive one free ticket with a valid Ohio University ID. Tip-off is at 2 p.m. Do not miss out on the battle of the bricks, get your tickets today.
Come out and support the OHIO Women's Basketball team, while they take on Eastern Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 9.
