University Communications and Marketing (UCM) has produced a teaser trailer announcing a new marketing campaign for Ohio University slated to debut in the fall.
"I am pleased to announce that UCM is currently developing a new promotional campaign for Ohio University," said Renea Morris, executive director of UCM. "It is a key part of our ongoing efforts to elevate the OHIO brand and will include new television commercials as well as print advertisements and Web components. Our goal is to both enhance admissions recruitment efforts and build on the sense of pride that our current students, faculty, staff and alumni have in Ohio University."
The newly released video is intended to announce that the campaign is being developed without revealing too much ahead of the official launch.
"We want to build awareness that our new marketing campaign is coming soon," Morris explained. "We thought it might be fun to create a teaser trailer—in the tradition of Hollywood movies—to give the University community a glimpse into our upcoming promotional efforts."
UCM is currently developing television commercials and other creative elements for the campaign. The department plans to host a special event for the University community this fall to unveil the new projects.
