On Wednesday, Vice President for Finance and Administration Stephen Golding sent an email to all Ohio University faculty and staff about the mainframe retirement.
Dear Ohio University Faculty and Staff:
On June 30, the University will retire its legacy IBM mainframe computing and printing environments.
If your unit uses any of the following services, please read the memo posted on the Office of Information Technology (OIT) website entitled "IBM Mainframe Retirement & New Printing Services." It provides specific information about the changes that will take place.
Test Scoring and Course Evaluations
Questions about the mainframe's retirement should be directed to the Office of the CIO at email@example.com or 740-566-8246. University Printing Services should be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org or 740-593-1930 for more information on transitioning your mainframe printing needs.
