The Ohio University Police Department will remove all abandoned bikes on the Athens campus in mid-July.
The department will mark all bikes on campus with an orange streamer paper in late June. Owners will need to remove the paper before the mid-July sweep to avoid having it confiscated.
All bikes that are not claimed are eventually sold at the Ohio University Auction.
Please contact OUPD with bike claims and questions at 740-593-1911.
