From staff reports
On Tuesday, Laura Nowicki, director of procurement services, sent an email to all OHIO faculty and staff about possible fraudulent charged on PCards.
OHIO faculty and staff,
Starting May 14, the Purchasing Card Office began to see an increase in calls about possible fraudulent charges on university P-Cards. JPMC, the university's P-Card provider, is actively investigating this activity and will follow up as appropriate.
In the meantime, if you have a P-Card, please check your Concur transactions frequently. If you see any unauthorized charges, report them immediately to the Finance Customer Care Team at FinanceCustomerCare@ohio.edu or 740-597-OHIO.
If you are not a P-Card holder, it still is a good idea to review your personal transactions at least every month and report any questionable activity to your bank or credit provider. You do have legal protection against fraudulent charges, but only if those charges are reported in a timely manner.
