On Wednesday, March 7, at approximately 4 a.m., a resident assistant in Boyd Hall reported that two room doors and a bulletin board had been ignited. The residents of Boyd Hall reported that they smelled smoke, noticed one door was still smoldering, and extinguished it.
At approximately 5:15 a.m., the same resident assistant reported two more small fires had been located and extinguished in the men’s restroom.
All of the damage reported in this case was minor.
This case is under investigation by the Ohio University Police Department.
